As a mathematics associate professor, Luc Jarry-Lacombe started out teaching mathematics and computer science. He then took over the management of a reputed preparatory class for the French “Grandes Ecoles”. Passionate about the IT challenges of higher education schools, he then became an IT consultant at ESCP Europe and EdTech Product Owner. His career path has enabled him to support a large number of schools in their transformations.
Trust, transparency, sustainability and reliability are values that are found both in the education field and blockchain projects. The topic of diploma certification is an old one in the world of blockchain and Luc always followed with great attention the experiments of ESILV, Holberton School or MIT. With the arrival of Ethereum, the game has changed and the BCDiploma team is now able to offer a solution that can be deployed in establishments all over the world.
In his on-going dialogue with schools, Luc noticed for some time now that many of them are already aware of the blockchain certification offers; however they have been observing the market and have been waiting for a tailored solution to their needs. To meet these expectations, Luc created Blockchain Certified Data alongside with Vincent Langard and Alexis Berolatti, and launched the BCDiploma project.
